About Recon Fitness

At Recon, we are dedicated to providing an environment that offers the highest quality instruction, guidance and mentorship. We strive to create an atmosphere that encourages individuals to reach their potential, whether it be for fitness, self defense or competition. Recon is a nonprofit gym in Westbrook, Maine committed to helping strengthen and unify the community. We offer affordable memberships for men, women, and children to access our BoxFit, Boxing, Striking, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Submission Grappling (Jiu-Jitsu), and Cross-training classes. At Recon, we strive to provide the highest quality instruction, guidance, and mentorship in a family-friendly environment. We want to help individuals reach their goals, whether it be for fitness, self-defense, or competition. We are passionate about helping our members build self-confidence, develop a stronger sense of community, and promote a healthy lifestyle. MUAY THAI | BEGINNER TO ADVANCED
A 60-minute class taught by professional Muay Thai Fighter Matt Probin. This class includes authentic Muay Thai techniques and partner drills designed for all levels.

NO GI BJJ | BEGINNER-ADVANCED
A 60-minute class taught by experienced competitor and amateur MMA fighter Henry Clark. This class is beginner-friendly and covers basic and advanced offensive and defensive skills that may be applied to live rolling or competition. No experience is required.

MMA STRIKING | BEGINNER TO ADVANCED
30 minutes of boxing technique and 30 minutes of directed training focused on exploring strategy and execution. Designed for all levels.
