About Performance Dance Center

At Performance Dance Center, we know the importance of providing a safe and comfortable environment for our dancers. Our studio is over 2800 square feet and features two dance rooms that are fully mirrored with ballet barres and state-of-the-art sound systems. The dance floors are made with professional flooring materials designed specifically for dance, making it safe and comfortable for our young dancers. We also offer a variety of teaching tools to ensure a successful learning experience. Our studio is equipped with a television, computer, and video camera that can be used as teaching aids. To make it even more convenient, we have the Performance Dance Center store with dance wear, shoes, and dance bags for all classes, as well as PDC T-shirts and sweatshirts. At Performance Dance Center, we understand how important it is to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for our dancers. With our professional flooring and teaching tools, we strive to create a successful learning experience for our young dancers.

Programs

Preschool

A 45-minute class for dancers who are potty trained and able to dance without Mom or Dad in the room with them. We have observation windows, so parents and children can see each other at all times. A combination of creative movement, pre-tap, pre-ballet and song and dance. They will perform a ballet and song a tap dance in the recital, although only wear one costume. We have class objectives every month like musical awareness, stage direction, pantomime, etc.

Basic Dance

Intermediate

1 1/2 hours combination class - studying ballet, tap and jazz. Lyric, musical theater, contemporary jazz, and hip hop will be introduced in the later years. A ballet or lyric, some form of jazz, and tap dance will be performed in the recital. You cannot just sign up for one subject as we feel learning the 3 core subjects together help the dancer improve faster.
