About Suzuki Institute of Boston in West Roxbury, MA
At the Suzuki Institute of Boston, parents can feel secure that their children are learning from the original materials and teachings of Dr. Suzuki from Japan. We have developed supplementary materials including a series of practice recordings for both technical development and ensemble skills, to accompany Dr. Suzuki’s original materials. We have a diverse faculty and student body and actively recruit in community-based settings, with the founder/director supervising all violin teachers. Our teachers have advanced degrees from leading music schools and active performing and recording careers. We are proud to have sent the only African-American violin teacher ever to study with Dr. Suzuki in Japan.
