About The Children's Castle in West Newbury, MA
Welcome to the Children’s Castle, a family-run preschool and childcare center founded in June 1984 by owners Jana Whiting and Janis Ridgley. Our Director, Debbie Rogers, has been with us for over 30 years, and many of our teachers boast 15 or more years of experience with the Castle. Parents can rest assured that their little ones are in good hands, as the Children’s Castle is open year round from 7:30 to 5:00, closing only on major holidays. We provide private kindergarten, preschool and childcare services to children in West Newbury, Newburyport and the surrounding towns. Plus, we offer a variety of flexible programs to meet the needs of our families.

Our very special infant and toddler environment is set up so that the children can be free to experiment and try new skills in a safe, closely supervised atmosphere.

Our small, self-contained classrooms with 8-10 children allow the teachers to facilitate a wonderful balance of learning and play.

Pre-Kindergarten Room
Our Pre-K program provides a learning environment and appropriate experiences to meet the needs of each child. The Pre-K children develop their skills through a high interest, theme-based curriculum, socialization and exploration of the classroom centers.
