Rosemarie Morelli offers classes for children and teens of all art levels in her fun and supportive art studio. The classes combine group activities and instruction in various techniques for drawing and painting, with the opportunity for each student to work at their own pace and receive personalized guidance from Rosemarie. Students learn to observe, draw and paint from subjects that interest them, while having fun creating artworks in a variety of media. Rosemarie Morelli is dedicated to helping children and teens learn and grow artistically in her supportive and fun art studio. Through group activities and individual instruction, she teaches the techniques for good drawing and painting while allowing students to explore artworks in a variety of media. Rosemarie encourages her students to observe and draw the subjects that interest them, while providing a supportive and enjoyable learning environment. All levels are welcome to join her classes and start their art journey.

Children & Teen Classes

Instructional drawing and painting lessons show young artists the way to problem solving — putting them in control to render a better likeness of a variety of subjects including people, portrait, animals, landscapes, objects, architecture, textures, fantasy creatures and much more. Students participate in group sketch lessons and work independently on projects that interest them at their own speed. All students receive individual instruction.

Summer Kids & Teens

Children and Teens enjoy learning how to become better artists in painting, drawing and illustration at Rosemarie Morelli Art Studio School. The relaxed-structured classes allow students to work on their main project of their choosing be it realistic, imaginative, expressive or contemporary interpretive art, at their own speed. Students are given a daily in-class group sketch study to improve the 3-d form and light effects in realistic portrait, landscape, and still life. Individual instruction is provided to guide each student’s level of ability towards a better understanding of art fundamentals. Main projects offer references of landscapes, seascapes, still life objects, portrait, anatomy, animals and fantasy characters. Students work in their choice of media: oil, acrylic and watercolor paints; pastels; pen & ink; color pencil; charcoal; conte crayons; graphite.
