About Shooting Star Dance Star

At Shooting Star Dance Center, we are dedicated to providing an inviting and exciting atmosphere for dancers of all ages and experience levels. Whether your child is a novice or a more experienced dancer, we offer several classes to suit their needs. Our classes cover a wide range of styles, from ballet and jazz to hip-hop and tap. Every child will be encouraged to develop their skills, while also having the opportunity to cultivate a love for the art of dance. We strive to provide each student with an enjoyable and rewarding experience, focusing on building confidence, coordination, creativity, and self-esteem. Our teachers are passionate about sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for dance, and helping each child develop their own sense of rhythm and appreciation for music. We want everyone to have fun and be inspired in our classes, and to take away a newfound love for dance.

Terrific 2’s & 3’s
A 35-minute class (must be 2 years old by the start of the session). A fun intro to movement, motor skill development, and creative expression. Intro to dance incorporating basic rhythms, movement, patterns, and creativity while learning to follow a teacher’s directions and engaging in a social situation with other 3 year olds.Pre-School Combination – A 45-minute class (ages 3.6- 5 years old). This combination offers beginning ballet and movement skills, intro to tap and rhythm work, and some basic tumbling skills.

Ballet
The background of all dance forms offers coordination, grace, discipline, and poise, just to name a few. You will learn balance, control, strength, and an appreciation for this beautiful art.

Modern/Contemporary
Combining the fluid lines of ballet, the strength of jazz, and the styles of the many Modern greats such as Horton and Graham.
