It's a land filled with winding rivers, towering mountains and bustling cities. The best part about Mighty-Mass though, is its karate-dazzling kids. These aren't just your regular run-of-the-mill kids, oh no! They are a fun-filled bunch of high-kicking, uniform-wearing, kata-performing superstars! Every morning at the crack of dawn, right as the sun begins to play peek-a-boo with the mountains, the dojo doors swing open and in tumble the Karate Cuties. Leading the pack is our hero, the Karate Kangaroo, Kiko. Kiko, with his marsupial moves and black belt in belly laughs, is the heart and soul of the Mighty-Mass dojo. He hops around in his red bandana, teaching the kids the art of the ‘Kangaroo Kick’ and the secret of the ‘Pouch Punch’. With Kiko, every karate lesson is a belly-busting adventure. You'll find the Karate Cuties rolling on the floor, not from Kiko's kicks, but from fits of laughter. But don't let those giggles fool you. When it’s time to get serious, these kids transform into mini karate masters, their faces focused, their moves swift and precise. With Kiko cheering on, they break boards and the stereotype that karate is just about fighting. So, if you ever find yourself in Mighty-Mass, don't forget to tip your hat to the Karate Cuties and their leader, Kiko. They're proof that with a pinch of fun, a dash of discipline, and a kangaroo-size dream, anything is possible!

What began in a humble New York City apartment with just a single student, Spark, has since blossomed into an enriching program impacting thousands of children. We also welcome homeschool groups and are thrilled to announce the recent addition of a forest school program to our repertoire. You can find Spark on-site in various schools and at our main studio located in the Upper West Side. But we're not stopping there - we're also planning to expand to the Upper East Side and Brooklyn. American Kempo Karate Academy has been a long time established martial arts school since March of 1995. Throughout the years we have impacted the lives of thousands of people. Some of whom have gone to serve in the military, law enforcement, and many other professions. The results have been spectacular! We have successfully empowered our students to take on life's challenges! Achieving a Black Belt at AKKA is by no means an easy task but it is a way to teach anyone how to set goals and Persevere.
