MULTI-TRACK KINDERGARTEN

Reflecting the belief that children are capable, competent, and ready to take more ownership over their learning, Harmony’s Multi-Track Kindergarten offers an intimate environment perfectly balancing intellectual skill-building with inquiry- and play-based social-emotional growth, while meeting each child in his or her individual development as outlined in the following tracks.

PRESCHOOL AGES 3-5

Harmony's Preschool program cultivates social and emotional development and the foundation of kindergarten readiness in a beautiful, calm, inquiry- and play-based learning environment boasting teacher-to-student ratios unrivaled in greater Newburyport. Our preschool classrooms feature small-group learning communities with consistent teachers and peers. Every morning—season to season—our Preschoolers enjoy an hour outdoors, exploring our Big Backyard and new, covered Outdoor Meeting Space.

TRANSITIONAL PRESCHOOL 2 - 3 YEARS

Harmony's Transitional Preschool program offers greater Newburyport families a gentle opportunity for children to gain independence and practice Preschool rhythms. Our classroom features small-group learning communities with consistent teachers and peers. Each morning includes a community gathering time, story circle, and seasonal songs. Each day, children enjoy fresh-baked bread, a fresh fruit or vegetable snack, and spend abundant time outdoors in our Discovery Garden. The rhythm of the morning weaves facilitated group activities with ample independent play, exploration, and social time.
