About Total Eclipse Dance Studio Needham Heights

At Total Eclipse Dance Studio, founded by Alicia Santamaria and her daughter Gemma Joyce, parents can rest easy knowing their kiddos are in great hands. The studio was created with the spirit of Radio City Music Hall dancer and dance studio owner Paulette Harwood, who Alicia and Gemma studied under for many years. When Paulette retired, they felt it was important to keep her knowledge and passion alive. Total Eclipse Dance Studio provides a family-like atmosphere for all ages. The studio has an amazing faculty, loads of support, and plenty of encouragement. No matter what level of dancer they are, Alicia and Gemma want every person who walks through their doors to feel comfortable and confident. At Total Eclipse Dance Studio, Alicia and Gemma strive to create a special and unique experience for their students. They believe that everyone should have the opportunity to explore their love of dance and be a part of something truly special. The studio provides an environment where dancers can grow, learn, and share their passion.

Recreational Hip-Hop Program
Classes for students interested in dance, but un-interested in the end of year concert. These classes will have a small performance in-studio to showcase their hard work mid-year and end of the year.

Master Classes Intermediate Advanced
Will be offered to intermediate-advanced dancers, whether you’re Company student or not. Instructors (in house & out of house) will be invited to teach in various subjects. These classes will educate our students in different genres of dance, and inspire creativity.

Adult Dance & Fitness with The Beauty Barre
Total Eclipse Dance Studio will be partnering with The Beauty Barre - a dance, and dance for fitness company. Within this program there are several opportunities for clients to achieve their goals in dance, fitness, or both.
