At db studios, we strive to create a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative atmosphere for all of our students. Our instructors are passionate about the art of dance and dedicated to helping each individual reach their full potential. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment in which our students can discover and explore the joy of dance. We believe in the power of dance to bring people together, inspire creativity, and create a sense of community. CONTEMPORARY JAZZ

Our contemporary dance classes are designed to improve technique, flexibility, stamina and artistry. Proper technique will be used as a departure point from which students will take risks and explore the freedom found within contemporary movement. Contemporary Jazz fuses contemporary dance styles with jazz, ballet, and world dance influences. Combines precision leg work with an ease and fluidity in the torso. It emphasizes and develops proper body alignment, strength and flexibility, rhythmic and musical phrasing, and self-expression. A fun, expressive combination of global music and movement.

BALLET + POINTE

Our ballet program provides an enlightened approach to dance training that fosters individual progression through the artistry, technique, and theory of ballet. Students of all ages and levels of experience benefit from this focus on personal achievement. We offer individually monitored, professional training in ballet technique, pre-pointe, and pointe work. db ballet classes focus on the qualities that make each student unique. Guided in the development of self-discipline, self-confidence, inner motivation, and creativity, the student is encouraged to reach his/her full potential in a non-competitive atmosphere of love and support.

MUSICAL THEATER

Musical Theatre is a jazz-based class filled with Broadway style dancing and music. Classes incorporate the style of dance one would typically see on a Broadway stage. This form of dancing emphasizes learning performance skills such as connecting with the audience and facial expressions.
