About Ballet Rox

At BalletRox, we believe that dance is a powerful tool for building strong, resilient, and confident members of the community. Our organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides a variety of community-based programs for Boston youth. Through these programs, we provide a supportive and encouraging environment where students can explore and develop their potential through dance. We strive to give every child the opportunity to express themselves through the power of movement and to gain the self-confidence needed to succeed in life.

Ballet Class

This class continues a similar structure with the added introduction of tap. Lessons include exercises in timing, rhythm, coordination and memorization skills.

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.

Class consists of warm-up, stretch, technique, movement across the floor and choreography in many different styles, such as lyrical jazz, funky or broadway.
