Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
Our Mixed Martial Arts classes will have both striking and grappling techniques taught in each class. The class will teach techniques from Russian Combat Sambo, Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as Muay Thai for striking.

Muay Thai Kickboxing
A combat sport from Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the "art of eight limbs" as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins. Classes mainly strike bags as well as occasional light touch sparring.

Russian Combat Sambo
A Russian form of grappling that is uncommon in the US. Unlike Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Sambo focuses on lower-body submissions and throws. Sambo was taught to children in the Soviet Union as part of their gym class. Sambo teaches leg locks, toe holds, compression locks, and takedowns. Notable Sambo practitioners include Khabib Nurmagomedov, Fedor Emelianenko, Andrei Arlovski, and Dean Lister.

Kids MMA Sambo & Kickboxing
Kids will learn how to defend themselves both with striking and grappling techniques using Sambo and Muay Thai. For the striking portion, kids will strike bags only and not each other. Grappling is done with a class partner. Classes also have fun active games.
