About Pilgrim Skating Arena Inc

Pilgrim Skating Arena, founded by the founders of the Pilgrim Hockey Association, is more than just a place to skate. It's a platform for developing individual character, responsibility, and team contribution. The motto “The Rink That Teaches” speaks to its mission of teaching life skills in a fun, safe and friendly environment. On any given weekend during the hockey season, over eight thousand skaters, parents, siblings and fans come to the Arena, ranging in age from 2 through 70+. Pilgrim is the home to local Boys and Girls town and High School teams, Skating Clubs, Learn-to-Skate programs and numerous year-round Hockey Leagues and Camps. It is even proud of the fact that a number of players have gone on to successful college and pro hockey careers.

Summer Programs
Summer is the time to learn, improve skills and grow as a skater. 'The Rink That Teaches' offers summer programs for all levels: ​ Programs to Teach New Players the Game of Hockey Programs to Help Current Players Improve Their Skills!

NOT a lesson, but a time to encourage tiny (Pre-K and K) children to get comfortable on the ice by developing balance and skating on their own, which builds CONFIDENCE.

This is for players who are on an organized youth hockey team and are looking to keep up their skills through the summer. Players will work on stick handling, skating skills and continue to learn the game of hockey. Lots of puck touches, fast play, and fast thinking on the ice. A fun way to improve their game and become a better skater/hockey player!
