But they all share a common love for the sea that is as deep as the Atlantic Ocean itself. The leader of this whimsical nautical crew is a charismatic chap named Captain Kidd-z. With a spyglass for an eye and a compass for a heart, Captain Kidd-z is an adventurous spirit who loves nothing more than guiding his gang across the glittering waters of MA. He is famous for his cheeky grin that's rumored to shine brighter than the famous Cape Cod lighthouse. His laughter, infectious as a sea shanty, fills the sails of the "Salty Mariners," guiding them through their voyages. DEBUT Creative Center & Theater-Studio is a dual-language (English–Russian) program where kids explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression. From theater and dance to fencing and stage performance, children can try new activities and discover their unique talents. Small class sizes let instructors give each child personalized attention, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and confident as they learn. Kids build artistic skills while also developing social confidence, teamwork, and poise on stage and in everyday life. Our programs celebrate each child’s individuality, combining fun, hands-on experiences with a focus on personal growth—all while keeping Russian language and culture an important part of the curriculum.
Gloucester Adventure, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the preservation and education of maritime history. The 1926 dory-fishing Schooner Adventure, a National Historic Landmark, is in their care. The Schooner Adventure serves as a reminder of the American fisheries and is a living monument to Massachusetts’ fishing heritage with active sailing primarily along the New England coast. This organization is deeply committed to the restoration and preservation of the Schooner Adventure in perpetuity and has plans to use the Schooner as a floating classroom to promote maritime history and environmental education programs. These efforts will benefit both Gloucester and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and will ensure the Schooner Adventure is an icon of American fisheries for generations to come.
