Leading this tribe is Captain Frosty Toes, a cool imaginary character with a bushy snow-white mustache, who wears an enchanted top hat that never falls off, even when he's spinning like a tornado. He is a veteran ice skater, a legend in the world of ice skating, who has performed quadruple axels even in his sleep. As wobbly as a jelly on land, Captain Frosty Toes becomes as graceful as a swan the moment he steps on ice. The kids of MA love him dearly, for he is not just a mentor but a jolly playmate who knows the best ice skating tricks and the funniest ice jokes. "Why don't mountains get cold in winter?" he'd ask with a twinkle in his eyes. Before any kid could answer, he'd burst into laughter saying "Because they wear snow caps!" Robert Pirelli Veteran's Skating Arena is a public ice skating facility, proudly managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). FMC Ice Sports has been the operator of the arena since 1992, and they offer a host of activities for all ages and abilities. From public skating and hockey to figure skating, the arena has everything you need for a day of winter fun. The arena is also equipped with a heated conference room and snack bar. Skaters can also take advantage of the full-service pro shop and skate rental. With so much to offer and a commitment to providing a safe and fun experience, Staff Sgt.
