About The Learning Center For Deaf
To this end, Walden School serves as a safe haven for deaf youth aged 8-22. Our national-level residential clinical and education program offers these students an opportunity to receive the support they need.
Many of the students who attend Walden School have experienced significant adverse childhood events and language deprivation, which has hindered their development. However, our program provides them with a safe and nurturing environment that enables them to overcome these challenges. We understand the unique needs of these students, and we strive to provide them with the resources, skills, and tools to reach their fullest potential. With our support, our students can become empowered to design a brighter future for themselves.
