About Brazilian-American Center (BRACE)

BRACE (Brazilian-American Center) was founded in 2012 by Father Volmar Scaravelli with the mission of helping immigrants of all backgrounds to transition into the United States. The organization, a nonprofit under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, provides assistance and guidance in order to help immigrants secure employment, education, and other vital resources. BRACE is dedicated to preserving the cultural identity of each individual it serves, and to provide the tools needed to make a successful transition to American life. Through education, advocacy, and culturally competent service provision, BRACE stands at the forefront of the fight for immigrant rights, and works to ensure that each person can live a life of dignity and prosperity.
