About Miss Tanya’s School of Dance Inc

At our dance studio, we take great pride in the quality of our classes and the enthusiasm that our students and staff have for dance. We know how important it is for children to feel confident and successful, and our commitment is to provide the best dance instruction for our students. Our studio has grown over the years, and our success can be attributed to the positive word-of-mouth that our current students and their families have shared with others. Our classes allow our students to grow in both technique and self-esteem. We believe it is our responsibility to provide every student with the opportunity to learn and explore the world of dance and to foster an environment that nurtures inner confidence and encourages success. To make sure our instruction remains up-to-date, our staff attends some of the top dance workshops in the country several times a year. We are committed to helping our students find joy and fulfillment in the art of dance.

Creative Movement ages 2.5 – 3yrs
Designed for our youngest students, ages 2.5-3 years. This 45-minute class teaches coordination, imagination, musical awareness, listening skills, and helps build self-confidence through the use of props, age appropriate activity resources and special music designed to develop the skill of the tiny dancer. One parent/Guardian must be in the classroom with the student.

Pre-School Combination classes ages 4 – 6
The Ballet/Tumble ages 4-6 is a combination class that will introduce basic ballet which will include terminology and positions. The class will also teach basic tumble skills, such as a forward roll, somersaults and basic flexability skills.

Intro Ballet/Jazz ages 5&6
Beginner level designed for students ages 5 and 6 with no prior training. Class teaches basic Ballet and Jazz terminology & positions.
