About Falmouth Dance Academy

At Falmouth Dance Academy, we are dedicated to creating an environment of safety and family for all of our students. We strive to provide quality dance lessons that help to build our students into the best they can be. Our goal is to foster a space where young people can develop an appreciation for the arts and prepare them for their future. We encourage each student to take full advantage of the lessons and opportunities they have here at FDA. We value sportsmanship, friendship, and teamwork. We believe that a person who focuses too much on themselves, misses out on a great deal. With a combination of hard work, dedication, and support from the parents, we know this year will be a success.

High School Jazz/Lyrical
Jazz Class incorporates the elements of Ballet, Hip Hop and Lyrical dance set to popular music and includes stretches, isolations, turns, jumps, leaps and choreographed combinations as well as the development of style.

Middle School/Junior High Tap
Tap blends coordination and rhythm foot patterns into a fun and timeless dance form. Warm-up, across floor skills, and movement combinations are built for increased coordination, clarity of sound, and rhythm.

Middle School Hip Hop
Hip Hop Class mixes Free Style and Street Dance styles to create fun and freestyle movement. This high energy class is a combination of an invigorating warm-up and strengthening exercises, dancers will be encouraged to freestyle, using their own creativity and style taught to them making this class a favorite for all ages.
