For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. At the Dover Extended Day Program, we strive to create a warm and stimulating after-school environment for students in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Each day, from Monday to Friday (or Wednesday after Early Release days) from 2:15PM to 6:00PM, our experienced staff provide a variety of activities such as outdoor and gym games, drama, clubs, science, arts and crafts, computer and homework time. We give parents the flexibility of choosing between two pickup times at 5:15PM and 6:00PM. Our nurturing and supportive atmosphere allows children to learn, explore and have fun in a safe and secure environment. We provide the perfect balance of education, recreation and relaxation, giving them the opportunity to grow and thrive. The Dover Extended Day Program is committed to providing a stimulating and enjoyable after-school experience for children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. With experienced staff, a variety of activities, and two convenient pickup times, we offer a safe and secure environment for kids to explore, learn and have fun.
