About Raymond J. Bourque Arena

Parents in the North Shore area are thrilled to have the Raymond J. Bourque Arena as a local destination for their children to explore and hone their ice hockey skills. This arena has been the host of the Endicott men's and women's ice hockey programs, which have achieved national prominence in only a few years of NCAA Division III eligibility. It also provides a space for Beverly High School ice hockey and other youth programs in the area to play and practice. Parents can be assured that the Raymond J. Bourque Arena provides a safe and enjoyable experience for their children with its seating for 1,000 spectators, six locker rooms, a concession stand, hospitality suite, entertaining space, team meeting room, and bathrooms for the public. With so many amenities, it's no wonder the arena is such a popular choice for youth ice hockey programs in the North Shore.

Beverly Youth Hockey

The Beverly Youth Hockey league was formed in 1993. Our mission is to both teach the players the necessary skills of hockey and to ensure that the experience is enjoyable and memorable. We strive to enforce fair play and sportsmanship from each and every player, as well as, an appreciation of ice hockey that will last a lifetime.

LEARN TO SKATE

The Beverly Youth Hockey Learn to Skate program is designed for the beginner, who has never put on skates, through the skater who has some experience on the ice but wants to improve their skills. We also have skaters who are beginning to work on their stick skills as well. No child is too young or too old to learn how to skate. Some start as early as two, but ages four to six are more typical, as well as some skaters who start later than that.

Endicott Men's Ice Hockey

The men's ice hockey team, in only their second season of existence, captured the 2017 Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship, won their First Round game in the NCAA Tournament, and qualified for the NCAA Quarterfinals. One year later, Endicott attained a No. 2 ranking in both national polls and was featured on a NESN/NESN National television show created by the New England Hockey Journal which highlighted the program's success. At the conclusion of the 2017-18 season, junior defenseman Logan Day signed an amateur tryout contract with the American Hockey League's Bakersfield Condors, the affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers.
