About Lynn & Jen’s Dance Studio

At Lynn & Jen's Dance, we foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all our students. Our approach emphasizes proper technique and form, while giving students the opportunity to explore their love for dance. We believe that teaching the fundamentals of dance helps to create a sense of pride and accomplishment, while building confidence and skill. Our classes are designed to be enjoyable and engaging, with individual attention and support for each student. At Lynn & Jen's Dance, we strive to teach the joy of dance to students of any age or ability. Our classes focus on building a strong technical foundation, while providing a safe and encouraging atmosphere. We believe that proper technique is key to creating a sense of pride in each student, and we give individualized attention to ensure that our students are reaching their full potential.

Programs

ARTS&CRAFTS Ages 3-5

60 minutes of dance, 45 minutes of arts and crafts

Ages 6-8

45 minutes of ballet, 45 minutes of jazz, 30-45 minutes of ballroom, tap, hip hop, voice lesson or arts and crafts

Ages 9-12

3 dance classes per day: ballet, ballroom, contemporary, hip hop, Irish step, jazz, modern, musical theater, tap, and barre/mat class, 1 voice, arts & craft and stage make up class

Ages 13 +

3 dance classes per day: ballet, ballroom, contemporary, hip hop, Irish step, jazz, modern, musical theater, tap, and barre/mat class, 1 voice and stage make up class

Ballet Technique & Combo Class(ages 10+)

Ballet Technique: Designed to enhance body alignment, flexibility, focus, and vocabulary; students will be introduced to the basic positions, turns, and jumps through barre and centre work. Ballet experience required. Combo Class: A one hour class focuses on different genres to improve dancer’s versatility. Each week dance style and teacher will change. Ballet Technique is required.
