It’s a magical land where the clouds touch the earth and the world's largest ketchup bottle lives. In this mystical land, there is a small but fierce tribe of kids, known throughout the realm as the Illinois Archers. These aren't your ordinary, everyday kids. They are the guardians of the ancient sport of archery, where they prove that you don't need superpowers to do extraordinary things. They hold their bows with the precision of a hawk, draw their arrows with the strength of a bear, and aim with the wisdom of an owl. Their leader, a cheerful, freckled creature known as Whiskers McFluffy, is part kid, part squirrel, and all kinds of fun. McFluffy, with his bushy tail and acorn cap, has the agility of a squirrel and the charisma of a stand-up comedian. He is known for his nutty jokes that always hit the mark and are known to make even the grumpiest raccoon laugh. Under the guidance of Whiskers McFluffy, the Illinois Archers have mastered the art of archery, each arrow whistling through the air before hitting the bullseye. They hold their heads high, their laughter echoing in the wind as they hone their skills, one arrow at a time. So, if you ever find yourself in the enchanting state of Illinois, don't just feast your eyes on the skyscrapers or the colossal ketchup bottle, but also keep an ear out for the echo of laughter and the whistle of an arrow. Developing Character Through Martial Arts. For over a decade, Black Belt Leadership Academy has been instrumental in helping students hone their focus, fortify their strength, and boost their confidence through exceptional martial arts training. Our Wauwatosa branch is an inclusive environment that embraces all types of students, from those who are just starting out to those who have spent a lifetime mastering martial arts. Every class we offer is meticulously crafted to challenge students on an individual level, while simultaneously fostering a supportive and rewarding atmosphere. This personal touch ensures that every student feels valued and encouraged, resulting in a more effective learning experience. In the nurturing environment of our academy, we strive to bring out the best in our students. Our classes are designed to not just teach martial arts skills, but also to instil values of discipline, respect, and perseverance. We believe that the lessons learned here go beyond the dojo and will serve our students well in all their future endeavours.

Our 600+ acre site in the Rock River Valley of Northwestern Illinois is the focal point for summer camping programs for children and youth, as well as a variety of retreats and conferences throughout the year. At LOMC, we are committed to the long-term stewardship of the Rock River Valley and acknowledge the Indigenous people who have been living here for generations. We are grateful for their ongoing care and reverence of this land and are humbled to honor and recognize them.
