He cartwheels into a goofy Tree pose, leans into a belly-laughing Warrior pose, and tumbles through the hilarious Happy Baby pose. Illinois may be known for its corn, soybeans, and deep-dish pizzas, but these kids are putting the state on the map for their yoga prowess led by their hilarious guide, Yogi Yeti. Parents in the Lockport Township area will be delighted to learn that the Park District recently has made a great effort to renovate and beautify existing parks, as well as create several new parks like Hawthorne Preserve, Sagebrook, and Oak Creek. Every park offers a range of recreational activities, including open play and spaces, playgrounds, sports fields, outdoor fitness trails, and more. There’s even a spray park and complete handicap access at each park.
