At our dojo, our Taekwondo program is designed to challenge students of all ages and abilities. We emphasize kicking techniques and sport aspects, with an emphasis on extended range and keeping opponents away. Our training program is comprehensive and includes forms, self-defense techniques, sweeps and takedowns, and basic Hapkido. While we do not require our students to compete or engage in full contact sparring, it is included in their traditional training. With every training session, students will be taught how to maintain composure, respect, work hard, be humble, and show loyalty and generosity. We believe that the mental and moral aspects of Taekwondo will help to contribute to a better society, one that values humanistic values over materialism and individualism.
