About Team Evanston

Team Evanston Soccer Club is the perfect place for your children to do just that. Based in Evanston, Illinois, Team Evanston Soccer Club is a competitive, community-based organization that focuses on individual growth and player development. We strive to create a supportive environment that encourages players to be their best both on and off the field. We believe in the power of sport to connect people and to positively impact a young person's physical, mental, and social development. Our Club welcomes players from neighboring communities, offering a unique opportunity to learn and grow with others.

Programs

The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.

CLUB TEAMS

Team Evanston teams are organized by birth year and playing level. Teams are selected each year during the annual tryout in May. Players train and play league games during the year under the guidance of a professionally certified coach from Team Evanston’s coaching staff. Teams play in local soccer leagues that are based on both geography and level of play. At U13, Team Evanston becomes FC Lakeshore.

UNITED ELITE

United Elite is the new version of the former Emerging Talent Program (ETP) previously operated by Chicago Fire Juniors. Like ETP, the current program will continue to focus on players U11-U14 and include clubs formerly in the Chicago Fire Juniors network. With the collaboration of former CFJ clubs, United Elite seeks to offer players the opportunity for additional competition and development. Founded by many of the same leaders from Fire Juniors’ ETP, United Elite will offer a residential camp at Lake Forest Academy complete with the same high-level professional coaching and classroom sessions focusing on technical development and personal development. Players who attend the camp may be selected to attend an out-of-state tournament during the winter season on a combined team comprised of players selected from the various clubs participating.

USL SUPER Y LEAGUE

The United Soccer Leagues (Super Y) is a high competitive regional league operated by the United Soccer Leagues (USL), a national leader in the professional soccer space. The Super Y League is decades old and has provided players with a unique opportunity to compete in regional competition, and advance to national competition, that is separate from the MLS Next Academy structures.
