At the Chicago Blue Dolphins, we are passionate about helping people of all ages learn to swim. Our unique swim instruction and training programs have been praised by the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Tribune Magazine, Chicago Magazine, Chicago Athlete, Windy City Sports, the Chicago Reader, and US Masters Swimmer. Our approach allows people of any age—from 6 months to 78 years—to get into the pool and find a love for the water.
At Chicago Blue Dolphins, we believe swimming can be a transformative experience. For those who are new to the sport, we offer the opportunity to learn the basics of swimming and open the door to a lifetime of enjoyment. For veteran swimmers, our instruction can help you refine your technique and find new ways to enjoy the sport. No matter what your age or skill level, we are here to help you make the most of your swimming experience.
Would you like your baby or toddler to develop a lifelong love of the water? At Chicago Blue Dolphins, we help them do just that by using a child-centered approach for our infant-toddler swim classes. We use songs, games and toys to bring joy to the learning process, which helps the children learn faster and better and eliminates pressure, anxiety, crying and coughing.
We introduce skills when your child is ready, open and relaxed. We take the tears out of the process and foster fun in learning. There are never any forced back floats, immersions or aggressive skills-based teaching.

Kids Private Swim Lessons
For children ages 4 and up, we can deliver all of the instructional services privately (one student) or semi-privately (two or three students). Unlike the small group clinics that follow a set schedule, private and semi-private lessons are done according to YOUR schedule. If your child needs to miss a week, bounce between days and times, or go multiple times in a week, you can do that.
