At Camp Idlewild of Florida, we strive to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive atmosphere where each individual is free to grow, explore, and be themselves. We believe that campers should be able to enjoy the same experiences as their non-disabled peers, while receiving the support and guidance necessary to gain the most from their time at camp. Our staff is dedicated to creating a fun and engaging experience that allows campers to learn new skills and form meaningful relationships with their peers. We strive to create an atmosphere of acceptance and inclusion, where campers can feel free to be themselves and develop their independence.

Summer Camp
Camp Idlewild will offer five weeks of summer camp for our 6 to 17-year-olds and three for our Young Adult Campers, ages 18 to 30!

Youth Weekend Camps
Daily program activities which will align with the weekend camp theme. These activities will include group projects and individual choice activities. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks. Please make sure to notify our camp team if your child has a special diet (gluten-free, dairy-free, diabetic, or specific allergies/sensitivities)

Young Adult Camp
There's lots more fun to be had throughout the year! Weekend Camps are available every month now for our Young Adult Campers! Daily program activities which will align with the weekend camp theme.
