About Bits N Pieces Puppet Theatre

At Bits 'N Pieces Puppet Theatre, we understand the importance of teaching children core values through the power of storytelling. Our theatre is dedicated to enchanting the children of today and influencing the world of tomorrow, by bringing to life the wonderful world of fantasy. Through the theatrical retelling of classic children's stories, we aim to share each story's unique life lesson and moral. We strive to bring the timeless values of classic storytelling to young audiences. Each story is crafted with great care, to ensure that the characters, plots, and moral of the story are captured accurately and effectively. We recognize the importance of providing children with a magical wonderment of fantasy and the values that are so often emphasized by great storytellers. Bits 'N Pieces Puppet Theatre is committed to inspiring and educating children through the power of storytelling.

Puppet-Making for Elementary Schools
For young children (preK-2nd grade) the workshop activities develop motor, language, and social skills, and increase confidence. For older children (3rd-5th grade), the workshop also emphasizes the nationally recognized teaching objectives of our program. Teachers’ in-service training sessions include the workshop with additional information on simple puppetry, easy staging, and curriculum integration.

All workshops are designed and led by Arts-In-Education Specialist Holli Rubin. Workshops and camps include all materials, which are provided by Bits ‘N Pieces Puppet Theatre.
