About Jump Dance Company

JUMP Dance Company is celebrating their 16th year of providing the Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota area with quality dance education. Our certified staff members work hard to provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all students, no matter what their goals in dance may be. Our teachers are dedicated to helping each student reach their fullest potential and build self esteem. Whether your child is looking to pursue a professional career in dance or simply wants to learn for recreational purposes, they will be taught with the same enthusiasm, quality and care. We believe in helping children develop a passion for dance and become strong, confident dancers. The dance classes offered by JUMP Dance Company are designed for all ages and abilities. From preschool to adult classes, Dance Masters of America syllabus is used to ensure each student is getting the best quality education. We strive to meet the individual needs of each student and help them become the best dancers they can be.

Tiny Tykes Program
This class is designed to introduce the very young child to dance, with Mommy (or Daddy) right by his or her side, along with an introduction to basic acrobatics. They will learn coordination, rhythm, creative expression, balance and flexibility. Children will experiment with movement using scarves, wands, and musical instruments, while having lots of fun too.

Children's Classes
Classes designed to introduce your young child to movement, coordination, rhythm, basic dance steps and establish a basic foundation to further your child's dance training. Learning proper techniques, improving strength and flexibility.

Creative Dance
The purpose of this class is to introduce dance to young children. They will work on pre-ballet skills, coordination, rhythm, creative expression, balance and flexibility. Students will use props ( scarves, hoops, etc.) to enhance learning.
