About StarChild Academy
At StarChild Academy, we understand the importance of providing an enriching, safe, and secure environment for your child to grow and learn. Our facility is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and proudly serves Apopka, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, and surrounding communities since October 2000. Our daycare services include infant care, toddler care, preschool, Pre-K, VPK, private elementary school, after-school, and summer camp programs.
We also offer our families the convenience of an internet camera system that provides access to watch your child throughout the day. At StarChild Academy, we strive to create a fun and nurturing experience for your child while providing them with the opportunity to reach their full potential.

StarChild Academy realizes that the highest priority for parents with infants is to have caring, nurturing caregivers that provide personal and undivided attention to their child's needs, including lots of social interaction and stimulating activities, all of which is provided in bright, safe, and clean surroundings.
Preschool
StarChild Academy understands that your child’s early years are crucial to their future achievements. It has been proven that students who begin their elementary school years intellectually and socially ahead of their classmates usually remain ahead of their classmates throughout the rest of their school years.
StarChild Academy’s mission is to prepare your preschooler by using a nationally recognized, phonics-based curriculum. Embedded in our traditional, proven curriculum are structured activities that teach students to discipline themselves to sit, listen, and follow directions. Learning these basic skills will provide a solid foundation and prepare your child for their elementary school years.
Before & After School Programs
After a full day of structure while sitting at elementary school, school-agers need time to rest, relax, do their homework, and just have fun. StarChild Academy provides the facilities and activities that will meet your child’s needs. On days off from school, field trips and other planned activities will keep your child busy and entertained.
Summer Camp
StarChild Academy offers exciting Summer Camp programs and programs during school breaks and holidays at all of our locations. StarChild Academy’s programs feature fun-filled field trips and interesting guest speakers who visit our locations.
In addition, many of StarChild Academy’s locations offer week-long summer academic enrichment programs featuring interactive learning experiences such as aerospace engineering, computer programming, robotics, applied math fundamentals, and creative writing.
