Once upon a time, in the enchanting state of Connecticut, nestled snugly between the rolling green hills and the sparkling blue ocean, there was a spirited group of kids who reveiced a magical gift - the power of Tennis! Led by their radiant racquets, they swished and swayed, volleyed and served, their every move echoing with the rhythm of a grand symphony. The kids, who were as diverse as the colors of a vibrant rainbow, hailed from the bustling cities of Hartford and New Haven, the picturesque towns of Greenwich and Mystic, and even the quiet corners of Litchfield and Tolland. Each of them was unique, yet united by their shared love for this magical sport. Their leader was none other than the legendary Sir Swings-a-Lot, a whimsical creature who was half-human, half-tennis ball. Sir Swings-a-Lot had the bounciness of a tennis ball and the wit of a human. He was notorious for his sudden, comical outbursts of "Deuce!" or "Love!" at the most unexpected times, spreading waves of laughter among his team. The Connecticut kids with their tennis racquets in hand and Sir Swings-a-Lot by their side embarked on countless tennis adventures every day. They chased after every ball with the determination of a cheetah, mastered tricky backhands with the agility of a ninja, and strategized their plays with the wisdom of a chess grandmaster. Each day was a riot of fun, excitement, and learning, etching lifelong memories in their hearts. And so, the tale of the tennis-loving kids of Connecticut and their buoyant leader, Sir Swings-a-Lot, went down in the annals of the state's history, inspiring countless children to pick up a racquet and join the magical game of tennis.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
