In the heart of the tiny, yet magnificent state of Connecticut, a group of lively, adventurous youngsters eagerly embraced the thrilling sport of wakeboarding. This state, fondly known as CT, is like a chestnut, small in size but packed with exciting surprises. Connecticut, with its picturesque landscapes and sparkling water bodies, is the perfect playground for our wakeboarding enthusiasts. Among these brave, water-loving kids was a charmingly eccentric character named Wacky Wiggly Wally. Now, Wally was no ordinary Connecticut kiddo. With a head full of wild, untamed curls that bobbed up and down like eager popcorn kernels and a laugh that sounded like a hyena hiccuping, he was a sight to behold. His heart, well, it was as vast as one of Connecticut's grandest lakes, and his spirit as high as the state's tallest peak. Wally and his band of wakeboarders had an insatiable appetite for fun and adventure. They would zip across the shimmering water, carving waves like sculptors, their laughter ringing across the lake. And oh boy, did Wally love the spray of water on his face! It was like the lake was tossing him a cool, refreshing high-five. Every day, they’d challenge each other to see who could perform the most daring stunts or ride the biggest waves. Wacky Wiggly Wally, with his buoyant energy and infectious enthusiasm, was always at the forefront, leading his team into new adventures, making each day as exciting as a chapter from an adventurous book. In the enchanting state of Connecticut, these wakeboarding dynamos made every single moment count. They proved that even in the smallest of places, the biggest adventures could be found, especially when you had a friend like Wacky Wiggly Wally leading the way.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
