Clara was known for her spectacular round-offs and back handsprings, but she had a little secret. Every time she performed a perfect flip, she would mysteriously turn into a cartoonish superheroine named "Flip Fantastic." With a sparkly cape and pink gymnastic leotard, she would bend, twist, jump, and flip with such grace and power that even the legendary gymnasts would gasp in awe. The other Gymnast Gurus were as diverse as California itself. There was Danny, a freckle-faced boy with a permanent grin who could balance on one hand longer than a Hollywood movie. And there was Mia, a sharp-eyed girl with the flexibility of a rubber band who could stretch her legs in ways that would make a flamingo blush! No matter where they were - at the golden beaches, under the towering redwoods, or in the hustle and bustle of the city streets - these California kids would always find time for their gymnastics.
