PRD Schoolmates Extended Care Programs
Schoolmates is a play based program that provides after-school care for elementary school-aged children (TK–5th Grades) during the academic school year. At Schoolmates, children learn teamwork and cooperation, while developing intellectually, physically, and creatively through structured recreational and educational activities.

The Piedmont Recreation Department offers four play-based preschool programs for children ages 18 months to 5 1/2 years. Our team of preschool educators is committed to providing a warm and safe environment to best support children's natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. We are dedicated to the development of a school/home community in which teachers and families learn and grow together.
