They weren't your ordinary, run-of-the-mill youngsters, oh no! These were the California Cheetah-Chihuahuas, a fantastic fusion of feline grace and canine enthusiasm. Now, don't let that name fool you. These critters were kids, just like you and me, but with a cheetah's swiftness and a chihuahua's yappy spirit. Each morning, they’d roll out of their surfboard-shaped beds, pop a sunshine-yellow hat on their heads, and buckle up their flip-flops. With the energy of a sugar-rushed squirrel, they'd zip down the beach, practicing their cheers and stunts, their voices rising above the seagulls squawking, making even the grumpiest of sea crabs crack a smile. The leader of this bouncy band was a girl named Cali. Now, Cali was genuinely something else.
