At our school, we offer a comprehensive range of martial arts programs for all ages and abilities. Our staff are passionate about traditional martial arts values such as respect, discipline and commitment, and we strive to balance our curriculum with progressive and innovative methods. This helps our students to develop skills that will support them in their life journey and help them to unlock their true potential. We understand that learning martial arts can be challenging and so we make sure our classes are fun and engaging. Our teaching methods focus on setting achievable goals and providing rewards for each small accomplishment. This helps our students to develop an attitude of self-reliance and increased confidence. Our goal is to provide our students with the skills they need to make good decisions and succeed in life.

Lil’ Dragons Preschool & Kinder Program

The Lil’ Dragons program is designed to teach children important life skills in a fun, exciting, and enriching manner. While each child is developing their attention span and coordination, the class promotes group activities and cooperation. The physical skills are designed to be appropriate for the age group and the motor development stage they are in. Therefore the techniques are kept simple and work jointly with motorskill-building activities so the children can see their progress. Positive Reinforcement is the foundation of this program. The Lil Dragons have a special belt system of their own that rewards your child for their martial art progress and builds the foundation for Life Skills such as respect, teamwork, sharing, and effort. Your child will be exposed to positive social interaction and learn that being a martial artist is synonymous with important life skills such as respect for parents and teachers, using good manners, and controlling their bodies.

Kids Martial Arts

Our program is focused on teaching Self-Defense, Fitness and Character-based Life Skills in a safe and fun environment. At Marina Martial Arts we have developed a unique Life Skills curriculum that has been helping children gain the character building tools that will be integral for their success later in life. No other activity or sport can match up. Tools like perseverance, positive mental attitude, self discipline and goal setting aren’t always communicated effectively in school and are often missing in team sports.
