About XCEL Baseball

At XCEL, parents can feel confident knowing that their children are receiving the best instruction available. XCEL is a 7,548 square foot facility that was founded in 2013 by former Long Beach State Dirtbags and professional baseball players Casey Snow, Jeff Tagliaferri, and JJ Newkirk. XCEL utilizes the knowledge and experience of its instructors to provide the highest quality instruction to young athletes in order to help them reach their potential both on and off the field. Parents can be sure that their children will receive the best instruction available at XCEL. With a combined total of collegiate and professional baseball knowledge and experience amongst the staff, XCEL is dedicated to helping young players achieve their goals and develop the skills necessary for success.

XCEL Private Lessons
XCEL Baseball & Softball offers private lessons for individuals and groups. Our professional instructors focus on individual strengths and weaknesses, and create a specialized method to develop and refine each player's skills. Our instructors analyze and cultivate the mechanics of each player until they are fundamentally sound and correct. Once the mechanics are learned, students utilize the XCEL Baseball & Softball facilities for repetitive practice, ensuring that those proper mechanics become constan
