At Clay on First, we believe in the power of creativity. We offer a full service ceramics studio designed to help people of all ages and skill levels explore their inner creative potential. Whether you’re a vacationer looking to pick up a piece of local Long Beach pottery for a loved one, or an experienced ceramicist looking for a space to create your own work, we have something for everyone. With our two-hour classes on Saturdays, you can join us for a fun and creative daytrip. At Clay on First, we’re passionate about fostering creativity in our community. Our studio offers a range of services, from simple pottery purchases to two-hour classes and private rental space. We welcome everyone from the curious beginner to the experienced ceramicist to explore their creative potential in our welcoming atmosphere. Vacationers can take home a unique piece of Long Beach pottery, while those with more experience can rent space to work on their own projects. Come visit us and get creative!

At Clay on First, we believe creating accessible and affordable art classes for the youth should be a priority in our community. So, we are happy to announce that we are now offering donation-based classes for the kids of Long Beach! Classes are 1.5 hours long and will explore fun clay projects like piggy banks, trinket boxes, coil pots, and much more!
