Ollie, though a champion in the martial art, has a hilarious habit of getting his tail twisted while demonstrating the moves, which makes the kids giggle and the seagulls squawk with laughter. The Kobudo Kids are as diverse and vibrant as California itself. From the red-haired, freckle-faced Billy with his shiny nunchaku, who can't resist a juicy taco, to the shy and quiet Mia with her bo staff, who loves reading books between her training sessions, each kid brings a unique flavor to the group. When they are not busy learning the swift moves and twirls of Kobudo, they are racing down the sandy beaches on their skateboards, trying to outrun the frisky waves.
