In the balmy California mornings, as the sun peeks over the horizon, the Kaya-kids gather at the edge of serene lakes, rivers that twist and turn like a roller coaster, and the grinning mouth of the mighty Pacific Ocean. With one foot firmly planted on their colorful kayaks, the Kaya-kids would pull on their neon life-vests, slap on their sunblock, adjust their superhero-inspired goggles, and burst into a chorus of laughter before pushing off into the water.
