About Camp Keff - Peninsula Jewish Community Center (JCCA)

At Camp KEFF, each day is designed to help campers foster creativity, confidence, and friendships. Our camp is open to children of all backgrounds, and we use Jewish traditions like humor and invention to create a diverse, welcoming community. Every week features a new theme, such as Chaverut (Friendship), Tikkun Olam (Repair the World), and Kehillah (Community). Through these themes, campers are encouraged to explore new and exciting experiences while learning universal values and how to be a “mensch” (Yiddish for really good person). At Camp KEFF, we strive to make every camper's experience as enjoyable and FUN as possible. Our activities are designed to bring children together to learn, play, and create a better world. We believe that by joining with friends, campers can have a blast while working to make the world a better place. Our goal is for children to leave camp feeling inspired and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.

Tinkerers
As a Tinkerer, your child will spend playful hours with friends on our playground, bring their imagination to life with creative and colorful projects, and sing fun songs at the top of their lungs! At Camp Keff, we encourage our campers to fully express their curiosity, build meaningful friendship bonds with fellow campers, and enthusiastically extract all the learning they can out of each day’s experiences. Through our much-loved, professionally crafted physical education curriculum, they’ll find joy, laughter, and energy in all kinds of creative activities—dancing, tumbling, jumping, and more! Plus, they’ll go “full STEAM ahead” as they enjoy hands-on experimentation and exploration in our Maker Studios and dig into nature in the PJCC’s warm and welcoming organic Justice Garden.

TK-5 Camp
This summer, Camp KEFF is bringing the excitement of our specialty camps together with the cherished camp traditions and lifelong friendships found in our summer camp community. Children will get to enjoy everything they love about Camp KEFF in one camp experience! Each weekly session is themed with a special and fun focus — including Chaverut (Friendship), Tikkun Olam (Repair the World), and Kehillah (Community). Creativity and friendship will be inspired through outrageous fun, camp sing-a-longs, arts and crafts, SWIMMING, skits, costumes, and celebrations. AND campers will explore their interests in weekly specialty camp programs, such as Cooking, Cirque de KEFF, Martial Arts, Coding and more!

Grade 6-8
Rising sixth through eighth graders cannot wait to have the ultimate, transformative summer adventure experience with Camp KEFF! With a focus on team building and deep friendships, KEFF Adventures explores a great big variety of exciting places, creative pursuits, action packed adventures, and over-the-top fun. Adventures are designed around our weekly Camp KEFF themes, focusing on core values that help us make the world a better place — with a fun Jewish twist!

Leaders in Training (LITs) will be an integral part of the Camp KEFF team this summer, helping to support our campers in having the most FUN and unforgettable summer ever. Join a community of friends as you grow in leaps and bounds as a leader, having loads of fun while you build your own professional skills.
