The Footie-Friends played Futsal under the watchful eyes of their cool, blue-haired coach, 'Funky Futsal Fred'. He wore neon sunglasses, and his whistle hung around his neck was shaped like a flamingo - his pet bird, 'Fluffy the Flamingo', was the unofficial mascot for their team! Together, they practiced in the cool California evenings, the sunset painting the sky in hues of orange, pink, and purple. The Encinitas Soccer League is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the communities of Encinitas, South Carlsbad, and Cardiff since 1977. Our goal is to provide quality soccer programs for kids aged 5 to 19 years old. Every year, more than 2,000 children take part in our program, learning the fundamentals of the game as well as the importance of teamwork.
