About Camp Alandale

Our mission is to introduce these children to the life-changing and healing reality of Jesus Christ, and to equip them to lead meaningful and productive lives. Camp Alandale offers summer and winter camp programs for children ages 9-18. We keep our camp sessions intentionally small so that each child receives the proper amount of supervision, love, and care they need to feel safe, valued, and protected. Our goal is to have a 2:1 camper-to-counselor ratio in the summer and a 1:1 camper-to-counselor ratio in the winter, depending on the size of the group. At Camp Alandale, we believe that every child deserves a safe and loving environment to heal from the pain of their past. Our goal is to provide these children with the opportunity to learn more about God and discover his grace and mercy in a safe and nurturing environment. We hope to give them the tools they need to lead a meaningful and productive life.

Summer Camp
Camp Alandale is a Christian camp exclusively for foster children. During the summer, camp activities include: hiking, swimming, crafts, campfire songs, Bible studies, Scripture memorization, sleeping in cabins, cooking, non-competitive games, a low ropes course, guitar lessons, archery, and other activities.

Winter Camp
During the winter, camp activities include: sledding, snow games, indoor group games, Bible studies, Scripture memorization, crafts, songs, cooking, and other activities. All of our activities are intended to build character and self-esteem. There are 20-26 campers/week for summer camp and 10-12 campers/weekend for winter camp.
