In 1973, JUSA was created when a few soccer-loving locals brought the game to our community by hosting organized games for local youth. It was an instant success, with 400 kids joining in the first year. The following year, the organization expanded to include boys and girls from Brea and Fullerton, and they were soon affiliating with La Habra and El Toro for a full season of games. By 1976, the organization had grown to 3,000 players and had incorporated, joining the California Youth Soccer Association as an independent club. With a focus on Anaheim, Placentia and Yorba Linda, JUSA has remained a beacon of youth soccer in our area for 47 years.
